INTERSOLAR 2016
S’Tile was attending INTERSOLAR 2016, in Munich, from June 22nd to June 24th. Let’s focus on the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry, where our team has unveiled our technology to the visitors.
From the setting of the stand in the French pavillon, S’Tile team could already smell this fresh air, composed of innovation and creativity that were approaching. On Wednesday and Thursday, S’Tile members, continually, relayed on the stands. Alioune describes, quite easily, what a day at INTERSOLAR looks like: stand, stand, stand. The crowd was, indeed, constant and the team was ready to answer the questions and remarks visitors could have in mind. Especially when they found themselves astonished by the new design of the biomimetic cells. The crowd was interested by the new modules with straight fingers, but the “leaves” cells designs were very attractive.
Our new products
Inspired by how the leaves collect and transport sugars from photosynthesis, this unique new design is the direct result of how the integrated cell is structured and how it collects electrons generated by daylight. An esthetic side, absolutely, but great performances as well! It has been calculated to confer the electricity an optimal connection in each points of the cell.
The event represented a great opportunity, for S’Tile, to present its technology to the public, now that it is ready to commercialize its products. 2 ranges are developed:
- Standard size modules (60 cells), for residential applications
- Customized modules for autonomous systems, batteries rechargers and also BIPV (Building Integration PhotoVoltaïc)
Presentation of our work at the EU PV SEC
In the meantime, conferences were heading at EU PV SEC, the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition. S’Tile’s youngest partners went there and presented our works, our technology, and what we are looking for, by the future.
